Away in the distance

Beyond the horizon

Untouched …

Stirred only by the breath of God

Life unfolds on a wave of shimmering blue-green velvet

Roaring, in a single smooth sensuous flow toward me…

Heaving. Arching.

Curving. Crashing

Into soft oblivion …

Sinking, dissolving, dying

Into the arms of the absorbing sand

Becoming one

Invisible, unseen …

I lift my eyes

And stil I behold you …

Rising anew on the distant horizon

To surge afresh to urgent, pounding life

Velvet flow unfolds

Holds me riveted…

… and Life begins again

Resurgent …

Rebirth initiated

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Was it you, stripling, that beckoned me
    with your thunder from my bed …
Held me riveted with your hearkening distant roar?
Challenged me to explore
Seek more
of you …
I heard you
Pursued you
To this wave of shimmering blue-green velvet roaring toward me …
Y asi
Los movimientos corrientes de mi vida
Fluyendo, corriendo, chocando
And thus
The fluid movements of my life …
Tiny fluttering ripples spring from within
Testing … rising, growing, swelling, arching
Colours merge, strength emerges
Phantom clouds take finite form
 strive and fight to flourish.
To the drumbeat of the breath of God, marching
New waves burst forth unbidden from my being
And on the shores of Life, new creation begins
