You wooed & won me with your wondrous words

Weaving skillful rhetoric into gossamer cords

Now we soar as one above earth's mundanity

Pillowed on poetic profundity

Our love finds expression in literary luxuriance

The music to which our melded souls dance

We soar above oceans on rhetoric profound

Waters won’t quench this love now unbound

We fed our passion on prosodic pursuit

Subtly stoking the unfulfilled fires of youth

Souls flowing together from a single pen

Parallel streams now find common end

Replete with lyrical abundance, poesy unending

I celebrate us in words, Lovers and Friends
