Reading and Writing

A well written piece causes you to pause and find pieces of the puzzle that is your own life. Writing can sometimes cause the writer to recall painful memories which are relived when applied in raw vivid words to paper. On other occasions they are relived or imagined happy events and the writer is buoyed by the moment. Undaunted the writer moves forward and inward with words set in succession to take the reader deeper into themselves and finally to experience or re-experience and reflect upon their own journey. For both the reader and the writer a well composed piece is both releasing and restorative.
